The Gutted Cigar was founded in May of 2010 & very quickly became a household name in the Southern California Hip Hop world. What was once a group of kids making music, eventually became one of Ventura County's most notable event management firms. Over the course of 14+ years, The Gutted Cigar has worked alongside many of Hip Hop greats via live events and used their platform to create a number of outlets, give back & address civil issues in the community on a regular basis. With a movement based on love & progression, TGC has provided stages for hundreds to thousands of music makers, painters, small businesses, models & creatives alike acrossed 26 states in the U.S. After a decade plus of successful contributions to the county, the highly prestigious, 805HipHop.com [home to decades of the tri-county's history], eventually went on to add Jeffy Oh (founder of The Gutted Cigar) & the platform to the 805 pioneers list in 2020. With a nod of approval & torches passed down from the OG's in the 805 music world to the continous support from the younger generations, The Gutted Cigar bridged gaps that most couldn't and will forever be a significant part of the Southern California Hip Hop heritage.
